Wyoming State Organization Achievement Award Guidelines

NOMINATION GUIDELINES

The following guidelines for nominations for the Wyoming State Organization Achievement Award were approved at the 1993 State Convention and are now in effect and must be followed in the preparation of the 2021 resumés and beyond.

The following guidelines remain in effect.

THE NOMINEE:
1. Must be an active member (reserve and honorary are not eligible).
2. Shall have made outstanding contributions to Delta Kappa Gamma on more than one level (chapter, state, regional, international).
3. Should be recognized outside of Delta Kappa Gamma activities with emphasis on educational contributions and community and state service.
4. Is to be unaware of the nomination by the chapter.

THE CHAPTER:
*Shall submit their nominee’s required documentation with the attached resumé (click and download or find below), in Word format, which follows the above guidelines, to the state chairman by April 1.
* NOTE: The nominee may be from your own chapter or from another chapter in the state.
*The resume will be in outline form, which is included in these guidelines.
*News clippings, pictures, etc. will be excluded from the resume, but chapters may gather and assemble information to be placed in the Achievement Award scrapbook should their nominee be the recipient.
*The resume shall not exceed four (4) pages of 8 ½ x 11-inch paper (i.e., four computer pages.)
*A photograph should be part of the resume.
*The nominee should not be the current state president.
*Chapters need to email a copy for the Wyoming State Organization Achievement Award chairman by April 1. Submit your copy as a WORD Document, not PDF. A hard copy is not necessary unless requested by the Chair(s) of the Achievement Committee.
