Beacons of Positivity and Good Vibes
Dear DKG Members,
I am excited to invite you to the State Spring Convention, which will be held in Newcastle, WY from May 16th through May 18th. This will be an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together as we focus on the theme of be “Beacons of Positivity and Good Vibrations”.
We are thrilled to announce that our guest speaker will be Teresa Cowan, who brings 30 years of educational experience to our event. She will share her insights on how to create a powerful and meaningful impact in education, focusing on the important elements of vision, value, and voice in our work. Her session is one you won’t want to miss!
In addition to Teresa’s inspiring presentation, we will have several hands-on breakout sessions designed to engage and energize our members. These will include:
• Making Lanyards
• Canva Learning
• Charcuterie Cup Making
You’ll also have the chance to be part of important discussions and decisions, including hearing and voting on potential by-law changes and working on our strategic action plan for the upcoming year. And of course, we will conclude the convention by installing new officers at the President’s Banquet and celebrating past members at the Hour of Remembrance Sunday morning.
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together with fellow DKG members, share ideas, and build lasting connections. We hope you can join us for this exciting weekend in Newcastle.
